Normec OWS’s Contribution

As a proud partner in this project, Normec OWS focused on testing biodegradability and ecotoxicity to ensure the environmental safety and sustainability of the developed materials. These high-quality bio-based polymers are used in coatings, textiles, household care products, and adhesives, demonstrating their versatility and potential to replace traditional materials.

Acknowledgments and Inspiration for the Future

We would like to express our gratitude to the University of York, our 14 partners from six European countries, and everyone who supported the project. The success of the CHAMPION project underscores the possibilities of sustainable innovation and serves as inspiration for future progress in the bioeconomy. The products developed during the project demonstrate the practical potential of bio-based solutions and offer a glimpse into the future of sustainable materials.
